Describing himself as “nurtured in the United States, formed in Europe, with an everlasting umbilical cord attached to China,” the multicultural Ling now owns his own practice David Ling Architects in New York City.

Remodelista has recently opened up the doors to David's own personal loft space: a 1880s brick building, originally a dental factory. Not only is the building beautifully curated and full of modern details while still keeping sensitive to the raw bones of the building, David Ling sees his space as his "lab" - a place in which he has the freedom to try out new things which he may not be able to try out with his clients. We loved watching the video below and hearing about the space from David himself. Enjoy!
