A Room Overflowing with Flowers

Making space over winter for ourselves and the rituals we can make in order to stay warm and well.

The winter solstice is behind us and few leaves are left on the trees outside. The sun is rising later and setting earlier as we spend more hours inside. This time of year calls for glorious warmth: taking long baths, slow cooking meals in the oven and wrapping up next to the open fire with a glass of red wine and book.

The bathroom is a place of ritual, of cleansing and wellness, and what we do for ourselves in this space can realign our days and support our well-beings. The simple notion of lighting a candle before slipping into the bath, of massaging the hands with Creme Suisse or drying off with a new towel before gliding through a spray of parfum. These small moments of self care bring ourselves more inward and give rich intention to our home life.

A space rejuvenation suggestion: fill the bathroom with vases of flowers! Make this room a place you want to spend time in and as a result a place you can retreat to, to care of yourself and create your very own winter wellness routine.

For vases shop Astier de Villatte, here or shop all bathroom, here.
