DETAILS

  • It is a simple knife, with a single blade that folds out from a one-piece bubinga wooden handle, and locks in place by a simple but foolproof turning metal ring. The blades are made of corrosive resistant stainless steel and therefore the blade doesn't require specific maintenance. The handle is durable and sturdy, while still fitting comfortably in the hand.
  • The knife has become an iconic symbol of French lifestyle. Opinel Knives have been produced in Savoy, in the heart of the French Alps since 1890.
