Braided Jute - Natural

DESCRIPTION

Nodi's best selling Braided Jute Rug is a classic, understated weave with irregular texture formed by the unique hand-spun yarn used. This rug lends a warm materiality to interior spaces and is also favoured for its robust, hard wearing nature.

Handmade from 100% Jute plant. Sustainably harvested, pesticide free yarn grown without the use of nasty chemicals.

Best suited to lounge rooms, bedrooms, entrance ways and dining rooms – spaces requiring a hard wearing and durable rug which need a layer of warmth and raw natural texture. Being a double sided rug means it has double the life span and can be flipped over seasonally.

DETAILS

  • If placed in direct sunlight this rug will fade, we advise keeping out of direct sunlight where possible, and rotating so fading happens evenly. We strongly recommend Microseal which acts as a sealant to protect the fibers and provides some UV protection. We can arrange this for you, just pop us an e-mail to shop@tessuti.co.nz
  • Due to the natural fibre and handmade nature of this rug, some little bits of yarn may pop up over time. This is not a fault and part of the nature of the rug - these can simply be trimmed down.
  • We are proud to share that Nodi are a GoodWeave® certified business. You can rest easy knowing your rug was made in a factory where the weavers are looked after, and where there is zero tolerance for child or forced labour.
